Clubs and Activities

Middlestown offers a wide range of after school activities (clubs) for Upper Foundation, KS1 and KS2. All teaching staff are involved in the running of these clubs on a voluntary basis and we are very grateful for their goodwill and professional commitment. We do also offer clubs, which are organised by professional sports coaches or other professionals. The clubs on offer change each term and children are informed of these in advance. Each club is £5 per child per half term.

In Autumn 1, Skateboarding club was a huge hit! One parent commented, “Just wanted to say how much my son has enjoyed the afterschool skateboarding club. The guys that took the class were brilliant and so good with him, he’s learnt loads and loved it!”

Construction Club

The children loved attending Construction Club after school with Mrs Sholi!

It was great to see lots of building and collaboration through play.

Please contact the office if you’d like your child to join in with the fun!

The Accord Multi Academy Trust is an educational charity established in September 2016 that is currently made up of four academies who were the founding members of the Trust. In September 2016 Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Sixth Form College came together, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy.

The overarching vision for the Trust is to work in one ‘Accord – celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be.
