Head Boy & Head Girl

Welcome to Middlestown Primary Academy’s Website.

We would both first like to say how delighted we are being elected Head Boy and Girl and what an honour it is to represent Middlestown. We are both looking forward to representing our school which we think is such an amazing place!

Even though we know that things are a little different this year, all the children have come back with big smiles on their faces and are happy to be back with their friends in their classes.

We are still going to continue with all our fundraising and organise safe ways of raising money for lots of different charities. As well as supporting charities, we are also here to support the pupils at Middlestown to continue to make our school a wonderful place.

If any children at our school how suggestions or ideas for school council, then they have the opportunity to discuss this in weekly school council meetings in their classes. This makes sure that every voice is heard and that suggestions are given to Mrs Young.

Each week School Councillors in Year 6 and the Head Boy and Girl meet to discuss issues raised from classroom school council meetings. Mr Andrews helps us with these classroom meetings and then takes our ideas to staff meetings every week.

We hope you enjoy looking through our website and discovering what a great place Middlestown Primary Academy is!

The Accord Multi Academy Trust is an educational charity established in September 2016 that is currently made up of four academies who were the founding members of the Trust. In September 2016 Horbury Academy and Ossett Academy & Sixth Form College came together, moving away from their stand-alone Trust status and were joined in December 2016 by Horbury Primary Academy and Middlestown Primary Academy.

The overarching vision for the Trust is to work in one ‘Accord – celebrating the differences of each academy through strong collaboration in order to inspire all members of our learning community to be the best that they can be.
