Admissions to Mainstream School
Children will be admitted into mainstream school (Upper Foundation) from the September after their fourth birthday. Admissions into mainstream school are controlled by Wakefield Local Authority in line with the Agreed Admissions Policy that can be found on Wakefield Council Admissions Information. At Middlestown Primary Academy we have 30 places in each year group. You will need to apply via the Local Authority Admissions Team for a place at our school. This can be completed online or you can request a paper application form by contacting the admissions team on 01924 306052.
If more children request a place than there are places available, then the Local Authority will follow the criteria set out in their policy (please see below).
